Studied acting with Warren Robertson and Stella Adler Swedish-born model and cover girl Maud Adams launched her film career in 1970. Never a great actress, Maud has been a consistently good one, especially in characterizations requiring a sinister edge. Together with Ursula Andress and Martine Beswick, Maud is one of the very few actresses to have been prominently featured in two different James Bond films: she played Andrea in 1973’s The Man with the Golden Gun, and ten years later essayed the title role in Octopussy. Maud Adams’ TV-series work has included the starring roles of Dr. Judith Bergstrom in Chicago Story (1982) and Maggie Farrell in Emerald Point NAS (1983-84).
