Scott Friederichsen and Mark Kerins
Scott Friederichsen best career finish was a second at a 1995 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in Hermosa Beach with Eric Wurts. He began playing volleyball in 1978 after being a member of a national championship surfing team at Orange Coast College. Friederichsen graduated from Long Beach State with a Business degree in 1984. A former pro indoor player in France, he has a law degree from Western State University in 1993.
Mark Kerins has captured beach titles in 1997 and 1998 with Henry Russell and Canyon Ceman respectively. A candidate as the AVP top rookie in 1993, Kerins has a Speech Communications degree from Long Beach State where he won an athletic excellence award. He was one of the nation’s top high school players at Ocean View in Huntington Beach. He was a member of the Unites States National Team in 1990 and 1991. He has a daughter (Summer).
